It was carved in red cedar, painted in acrylic, and is adorned with horse hair and cedar bark. It sits on a removable yellow cedar base. The Bukwus or Wild Man of the Woods is an eerie supernatural creature from the Kwakwakawakw Nation. This figure can be found lurking at the edge of a stream or in the shadows of the forest, always in search of souls
